About Us

PowerHouse Field Hockey was founded in 2017 by 2016 Olympian Stefanie Fee and former U.S. National Team athlete Lauren Pfeiffer. Inspired by the term "PowerHouse," our aim is to create an elite training environment that fosters leadership on and off the field. The club's mission is to build the complete athlete through innovative training, focusing on technical skills and tactical understanding, alongside strength and conditioning. PowerHouse emphasizes teamwork and the passion for the game, empowering players to enhance their abilities and achieve greatness.

Both Fee (2012-2018) and Pfeiffer (2009-2015) were on the USWNT for a combined 14 years and during their time as competitive, international athletes, the most common term used in sport when recognizing greatness is “PowerHouse”. They jumped at the idea of naming the club that, knowing they were going to create an elite training opportunity for athletes and a place where they would also be pushed as positive leaders on and off the field.

We have embarked on a journey to coach one of the hardest working club teams in America, while also helping each athlete stay in tune with their passion for the game. We are PowerHouse Field Hockey. The ‘Power’ represents our mission to build the complete athlete through sharpening basic and elite level skills, and empowering each player with strength and speed to take their game to the next level. Our ‘House’ defines the importance of our field hockey family and taking care of each other in order to be the best team we can be.
